Family Feud-Style Questions for Work

Four complete answer boards about preparing, tracking and closing a workplace group game, including remote-game setup. All four answer boards use illustrative editorial allocations, not survey results.

Run the round

  1. Use these four rounds as a short paper game. Keep the answer key private and give players the questions-only sheet; read each question aloud.
  2. For two teams, alternate one response per turn. Give each team three turns per question, stopping earlier if every listed answer has been found. Allow about 15 seconds per response and agree extra reading or thinking time before play.
  3. Award each listed answer only once per board. A repeated answer, pass or unmatched response earns zero. Accept the synonyms and distinctions in the host notes; never award two entries for one response.
  4. The weights total 100 on each board and are illustrative editorial game allocations, not measured popularity, percentages, or a survey of 100 people. Four boards offer 400 points in total; share a tied win.
  5. Use optional team responses and neutral workplace language. The tie-rule question is itself a game prompt; this short paper format uses the shared-win rule announced here.
  6. TXT is an editable preparation sheet. For a hosted reveal board, prepare the selected questions and answers manually in your chosen game.

Scoring: Award the illustrative points in parentheses for an unused matching answer; zero for a pass, repeat or unmatched response. Each board totals 100; all four total 400. These are editorial allocations, not survey data or official TV rules.

Work meeting game preparation

1. Name something a host checks before an online group game.

Host answer

Screen sharing (34); Audio (27); Game link (20); Prepared questions (13); Turn order (6)

Illustrative editorial allocations, not survey data. Accept screen sharing for display setup; keep the game link separate from prepared content.

2. Name something you might use to keep track of a game session.

Host answer

Timer (34); Score sheet (27); Run sheet (20); Round counter (13); Turn list (6)

Illustrative editorial allocations, not survey data. Timer measures minutes; round counter measures completed rounds. Treat each as a separate answer.

3. Name a place a team could write a short answer during a remote game.

Host answer

Chat box (34); Paper (27); Shared whiteboard (20); Answer form (13); Team message thread (6)

Illustrative editorial allocations, not survey data. Accept a private team message channel for the team thread, not for the main chat box.

4. Name something a host could say when a game ends in a tie.

Host answer

Share the win (34); Play a bonus round (27); Ask a tiebreaker question (20); Schedule a rematch (13); Thank both teams (6)

Illustrative editorial allocations, not survey data. A bonus round is played now; a rematch is scheduled for another occasion. A tiebreaker is one question rather than a full extra round. Accept equivalent wording once.
