Family Feud-Style Questions for Church Groups

Four complete answer boards for church group-event logistics: welcome tables, instructions, volunteer briefings and appreciation. This set is not Bible-knowledge trivia. All four answer boards use illustrative editorial allocations, not survey results.

Run the round

  1. Use these four rounds as a short paper game. Keep the answer key private and give players the questions-only sheet; read each question aloud.
  2. For two teams, alternate one response per turn. Give each team three turns per question, stopping earlier if every listed answer has been found. Allow about 15 seconds per response and agree extra reading or thinking time before play.
  3. Award each listed answer only once per board. A repeated answer, pass or unmatched response earns zero. Accept the synonyms and distinctions in the host notes; never award two entries for one response.
  4. The weights total 100 on each board and are illustrative editorial game allocations, not measured popularity, percentages, or a survey of 100 people. Four boards offer 400 points in total; share a tied win.
  5. The scope is volunteer and event logistics. No denominational knowledge, faith declaration or personal testimony is needed; choose a separate checked pack if the intended activity is Bible study.
  6. TXT is an editable preparation sheet. For a hosted reveal board, prepare the selected questions and answers manually in your chosen game.

Scoring: Award the illustrative points in parentheses for an unused matching answer; zero for a pass, repeat or unmatched response. Each board totals 100; all four total 400. These are editorial allocations, not survey data or official TV rules.

Church group-event hosting

1. Name something a church volunteer could set out at a welcome table for a group game.

Host answer

Name tags (34); Room directions (27); Game schedule (20); Pencils (13); Team cards (6)

Illustrative editorial allocations, not survey data. Accept pens as pencils. Name tags identify individuals; team cards identify groups. Directions show where to go, while the schedule shows when activities happen.

2. Name a place a church-event host could share game instructions.

Host answer

Noticeboard (34); Projector screen (27); Printed handout (20); Welcome-table sign (13); Group message (6)

Illustrative editorial allocations, not survey data. Accept bulletin board as noticeboard and a display screen as projector screen. A portable handout is separate from a fixed welcome-table sign. Count one communication channel per response.

3. Name a detail a volunteer might check in a church game-event briefing.

Host answer

Room assignment (34); Start time (27); Materials checklist (20); Access needs (13); Cleanup plan (6)

Illustrative editorial allocations, not survey data. Accept activity location for room assignment. Access needs include reachability or readable text; they are distinct from simply knowing the room. A cleanup plan concerns the end of the activity.

4. Name a way to thank volunteers after a church group game.

Host answer

Spoken thank-you (34); Round of applause (27); Group wave (20); Handwritten note (13); Group cheer (6)

Illustrative editorial allocations, not survey data. Accept clapping as applause and written thank-you as handwritten note. A wave is a visual gesture; a group cheer is a spoken group response. No one is required to join in.
